SOLUTIONS / FROM CHALLENGE TO DESIGN

Have an Engineering Challenge? Start Here.

From an individual component to a new device. We help turn sketches, photos, existing models and technical ideas into engineered designs and CAD documentation.

Conceptual schematic
Geometry · components · interfaces

Start with an idea, a sketch, a photo or a CAD file. We’ll clarify any additional requirements together.

YOUR STARTING POINT

What do you need to solve?

Find a challenge close to yours. You don’t need to know which engineering service it calls for.

Need a part, enclosure or mount?

We develop a CAD model from your sketch, dimensions or sample, preparing the geometry for 3D printing or another agreed manufacturing method.

For example

  • An electronics enclosure
  • A mount or adapter
  • A functional plastic part
Possible outcome

CAD model · STEP / STL

What we’ll clarify

The part’s purpose, key dimensions, mating components and operating conditions. Manufacturing method and accuracy requirements are agreed separately.

Have an idea for a new device?

We help define the design, component layout and size constraints, then develop an engineering model for the next stage.

For example

  • A new technical device
  • A purpose-built product
  • A compact product concept
Possible outcome

Concept · CAD assembly · technical documentation

What we’ll clarify

What the device should do, who will use it, its size constraints and any known components. We’ll define the scope of the next stage together.

Need to bring mechanical and electronic components together?

We design the mechanical layout and mounts for motors, sensors and electronic modules, considering assembly, maintenance and available space.

For example

  • Mounting circuit boards
  • Positioning a motor and drive
  • Mounting sensors and modules
Possible outcome

CAD assembly · mounts · interface drawings

What we’ll clarify

The dimensions and interfaces of selected modules, available space, maintenance access and cable routing. Electronic circuit design and software need their own scope.

Need to recreate or improve an existing product?

We help reconstruct geometry you have permission to reproduce, modify a design, adapt components or prepare manufacturing documentation.

For example

  • An unavailable spare part
  • A design modification
  • Adapting to new components
Possible outcome

Reconstructed CAD model · updated drawings

What we’ll clarify

Available samples and measurements, the reason for the change and permission to reproduce the part. Accuracy depends on the source data; a photo alone cannot establish materials or tolerances.

Need to check whether a design works?

Preparation and agreed testing of an experimental version: we define what to test, the criteria and the scope of physical work.

For example

  • Checking how a mechanism works.
  • Assessing assembly and part interaction.
  • Testing a specific subassembly on a prototype.
Possible outcome

Prototype · test plan · results within the agreed scope

What we’ll clarify

The function to test, acceptance criteria, available components and test conditions. Manufacturing and physical testing are agreed separately.

Developing robotics or UAV hardware?

Mechanical structures, frames, mounts and equipment integration for civilian and industrial applications. Control systems, certification and flight readiness require separate work.

For example

  • Mechanical platforms and frames.
  • Sensor and payload mounts.
  • Integrating robotics system components.
Possible outcome

Platform CAD model · mounts · drawings

What we’ll clarify

The intended use, equipment dimensions and weight, mechanical interfaces and operating conditions. Testing, safety and certification are considered separately.

STARTING MATERIAL

You don’t need finished drawings

We can start with what you already have and identify the information needed for engineering development.

IDEA / SKETCH

An idea, description or sketch

We discuss the intended function, constraints and questions the design needs to answer.

PHOTO / SAMPLE

A photo, sample or dimensions

We establish the geometry and mating interfaces, identifying any additional measurements needed.

CAD / STEP / STL

An existing CAD model

We assess the available STEP, STL or native CAD geometry and whether it can be adapted.

ENGINEERING GEOMETRY

From an initial idea to technical files

Parts, assemblies and component layouts connect through consistent engineering decisions. Geometry makes those decisions tangible.

POSSIBLE DELIVERABLES

What engineering development can deliver

3D CAD

A three-dimensional part model

STEP / STL

Files for the agreed manufacturing method

PDF

Technical drawings

CAD / BOM

An assembly and component list

The scope depends on the challenge. These are possible deliverables, not a standard package for every project. Manufacturing and verification are agreed separately.
