PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT / ENGINEERING

Functional Prototyping

We create an experimental prototype to check a working principle, technical feasibility or a specific design decision.

Shaded CAD assembly of pistons and connecting rods arranged around crankshaft components, with visible fasteners and shaft ends

CAD engineering visualization

Piston–crank mechanism CAD model

CAD visualization illustrating the arrangement of pistons, connecting rods and crankshaft components.

Deliverables and review stages are agreed for each project. Manufacturing, testing and external specialists are quoted separately where needed.

Suitable technical requests

Engineering example · Not a client case study

  • Prove that a mechanism can achieve its required motion
  • Check the assembly and operation of an existing product concept

Engineering work

Define test criteria, adapt CAD for prototype manufacture, select components and plan assembly and agreed tests.

Possible deliverables

  • Prototype CAD and build files
  • Component and assembly list
  • Build observations and test findings, as scoped

What we need to start

Concept or CAD, the question to test, acceptance criteria, available components and build constraints.

How this scope develops

Define the test → prepare build files → coordinate manufacture and assembly → record findings and changes.

Files and handover

STEP/STL as appropriate, PDF drawings and test notes, CSV BOM. Physical build only as explicitly agreed.

Scope boundaries

A prototype is not production approval. Manufacture, assembly and testing depend on agreed resources; certified testing is separate.
